Think you can smash a ‘home run’?
With challenging speeds ranging from 40mph to 60mph, baseball is perfect for the adventurous, energetic and adrenaline-seeking! For less experienced and younger players, softball is the perfect choice. The balls are larger and thrown at a slower speed, giving a greater chance of striking the ball. One of only three specialised pitching machines in Europe, this is an adrenaline experience you will never forget!
You will be given instructions and tips from the Heatherton staff, learning how to safely participate and enjoy the experience. The facility is computer controlled so baseballs and softballs are automatically fired.

What to expect:
Step up to the plate and test your swing in our baseball and softball batting cages – a fun challenge for all ages and abilities.
- 30 balls per session
- Choose between Baseball (14+ and 1.4m+) or Softball (6+)
Supervision:
Fully supervised by our trained team at all times, with a designated viewing area for spectators.
Good to know:
- Safety helmets and gloves are provided
- Our Softball Batting Cages are on one level and wheelchair users are very welcome to take part
- This activity does not operate in wet weather
