Are you creative, confident, fun and friendly with a great sense of humour and excellent customer service? Then you could be our next Game Master here at Tenby’s Great Escape!

This exciting role involves:
• Helping to run our three thrilling escape rooms – our magical Wizard's Lair, swashbuckling Captain's Treasure Room, and chilling Tenby Asylum
• Greeting our escapees and explaining how the games work
• Overseeing games from a remote computer and knowing when to give appropriate extra clues if required
• Setting up rooms between games
• Helping out on other Heatherton activities if needed

The right person will be:
• Confident speaking to groups of all ages
• A friendly 'people person' with excellent customer service
• Hardworking and reliable
• Creative and fun with a good sense of humour
• Aged 18+

Similar experience would be a bonus but not essential as full training will be provided.


We’re currently looking for seasonal staff, with shifts focused school holidays, and weekends.

There is also the potential for mid-week work for the right candidate.

We are looking for fun, friendly, hardworking, and reliable people to join the Heatherton activities team for the 2026 season. This role covers a range of responsibilities, and is primarily to cover the busy school holiday periods. This role would especially suit someone looking for work during school and University.

This role involves:

  • Supervising our wide range of indoor and outdoor activities from jumping pillows, bumper boats and archery to baseball, pistol shooting and our driving school!
  • You will play a key role in delivering fun, safe, and memorable experiences for our visitors.
  • You will be responsible for supervising and operating a variety of indoor and outdoor activities, ensuring all guests feel welcomed, confident, and ready to have fun. 

Duties include:

  • Providing excellent customer service with a positive attitude.
  • Working as part of a friendly and supportive team.
  • Safely supervising activities and following all operating procedures.
  • Delivering clear safety briefings and instructions to guests.
  • Monitoring equipment and reporting any issues.
  • Assisting guests and answering questions around the park.

What we are looking for:

  • A friendly and approachable individual who has good communication skills. 
  • A team player with a can-do attitude.
  • Reliable, punctual, and happy to work weekends and school holidays. 
  • Willingness to work outdoors and across different activity areas.
  • Previous customer service or activity-based experience is helpful but not essential as full training will be provided.

Tree Tops Trail Instructor – Seasonal

We're looking for an experienced and hardworking Tree Tops Trail Activity Supervisor for our thrilling high ropes course - for the 2026 season and potentially beyond!

This role involves: 

  • Meeting and greeting customers and assisting with queries,
  • Setting up and maintenance of equipment to ensure all safety checks are carried out,
  • Instructing high ropes sessions and zipwires,
  • Patrolling the course to ensure all participants are safely conducting themselves while on course,
  • Occasionally running other activities in the park.

The right person will:

  • Be 18+ with a good head for heights,
  • Have experience of instructing high ropes or climbing,
  • Be sociable, friendly and comfortable talking to, leading and instructing large groups of customers of all ages and capabilities,
  • Be hardworking and reliable.

This role is to cover weekends and school holidays throughout the 2026 season - and beyond! There's also the potential for mid-week work for the right candidate.

Part-Time | Permanent Receptionist / Admin Assistant

We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and highly organised Receptionist / Admin Assistant to join our team in a busy, customer-facing role. This is a part-time permanent position with 16–20 hours guaranteed per week, typically spread over 2–3 shifts.

This position will be primarily based at Heatherton World of Activities, with additional administrative support provided to our sister business, Florence Springs Luxury Lodges & Glamping, located next door.

This is a varied and rewarding role, ideal for someone who enjoys working with the public while keeping day-to-day operations running smoothly behind the scenes.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Welcoming visitors and providing a friendly, professional front-of-house experience.

·       Answering incoming phone calls and responding to emails efficiently and professionally.

·       Managing bookings, amendments, and enquiries for activities and accommodation.

·       Handling customer service queries both in person and online.

·       Processing payments and using booking and till systems accurately.

·       Supporting general administrative tasks across both businesses.

·       Assisting with daily office organisation and record keeping.

·       Liaising with team members to ensure smooth daily operations.

About You:

·       Friendly, approachable, and confident when dealing with customers.

·       Highly organised with good attention to detail.

·       Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

·       Comfortable using computers, email, and booking systems.

·       Able to work well under pressure in a busy environment.

·       Reliable, flexible, and a good team player.

Hours & Requirements:

·       Part-time permanent role, 16–20 hours per week guaranteed.

We are looking for a friendly, hardworking, and reliable individual to join the permanent catering team at Heatherton for the 2026 season. This role combines hands-on cooking and kitchen preparation with broader catering assistant responsibilities across our coffee shop and restaurant outlets.

About the role:

As a Catering Assistant / Kitchen Cook, you will split your time between preparing and cooking food in our busy restaurant and coffee shop and supporting general catering operations. This includes serving food and beverages, helping maintain a clean and well-stocked environment, and assisting with front-of-house duties when required.

Key responsibilities:

·       Preparing, cooking, and plating dishes for the restaurant to high standards.

·       Supporting daily catering operations, including serving meals, assisting with beverage service, and interacting with customers.

·       Assisting with food prep, portioning, and organisation of ingredients to ensure smooth service during busy periods.

·       Monitoring and maintaining kitchen and catering stock levels, checking ingredients, and assisting with ordering supplies.

·       Operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.

·       Maintaining clean, safe, and hygienic kitchen and catering areas.

·       Working collaboratively with the team to manage high-volume service while delivering excellent customer experiences.

What we are looking for:

·       Experience in cooking or food preparation in a restaurant, café, or similar environment is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided.

·       Comfortable working confidently in both kitchen and front-of-house catering roles.

·       Knowledge of basic food hygiene standards (training provided if needed).

·       Reliable, punctual, and happy to work weekends and school holidays.

·       Friendly, approachable, and a team player with the ability to work under pressure.

Hours:

·       Permanent role with shifts typically around 8 hours.

·       Minimum of 25 hours per week guaranteed, with the opportunity to work up to 40 hours during busy periods, including weekends and school holidays.
