WELCOME BACK! As we continue to adapt to our 'new normal', you'll naturally notice changes around the park as we work hard to keep visitors and staff safe. However, many activities are OPEN with all the fun and thrills you know and love!

Recent changes to note are:

  • Temporary closure of indoor activities - our Escape Rooms, soft play and arcade will sadly be closed from Saturday 5th December 2020 (to be reviewed on 17th), due to Welsh Government guidelines
  • Face coverings - anyone aged 11 or over must wear a face covering in indoor public areas.
  • Rule of four - the maximum group size for meeting people outside your household (both indoors and outdoors) is four. This excludes children under 11. Families of more than four are exempt as long as they all live at the same address.

Below you'll find our 'Playing Safe Guide' and 'Your Questions Answered' which we'd be grateful if you could read before visiting.

Don't forget to book your Credit Passes online here.

If you are returning to spend unused credits, please sign in at reception for track and trace - details are automatically recorded for new bookings.

Your 'Playing Safe' Guide

  • We're allocating a limited number of Credit Passes each day to help control visitor numbers. When purchasing your Credit Passes, you'll also need to tell us how many people are in your group.
  • Our team wear face covering in all indoor public areas.
  • Activity queuing areas have been extended to give extra space between customers - please observe the 2 metre markers and stay within the barriers. We ask that you respect the other visitors in the park please.
  • Hand sanitising points are positioned around the park, including at the queuing point for every activity. We ask that all customers use the hand sanitisers provided, to help create a 'Clean Hand Zone' on the activities.
  • Certain activities have protective screens between bays for your safety.
  • Extra cleaning and sanitising is carried out across all activities, food areas, seating areas and toilets.
  • Disinfectant 'foggers' are used for our Escape Rooms and go karting equipment.
  • Contactless payment is preferred wherever possible.

If you are showing any symptoms of covid-19 or have been in contact with anyone diagnosed or showing symptoms, please do not visit the park.

Credit Passes need to be booked online for the specific date you wish to visit. This is because we have a set capacity each day to control numbers, and to help make your visit as safe as possible.

Once you've selected your chosen Credit Passes, you'll also need to tell us how many are in your group.

Playing Pitch & Putt and Adventure Golf only

You don't need to book if you are playing Pitch and Putt or Adventure Golf ONLY. However, please note we can only admit players if we have capacity, so we recommend coming early in the day.

From Monday 14th September 2020, anyone aged 11 and over must wear a face covering in indoor public areas - except when eating and drinking.

This means anyone aged 11 and over will need to wear a face covering in all indoor areas at Heatherton - except if you are eating or drinking in our coffee shops or restaurant.

Current Government guidelines state that the maximum group size for meeting people outside your household (both indoors and outdoors) is four. This excludes children under 11. Families of more than four are exempt as long as they all live at the same address. Please respect this rule while visiting Heatherton.

We've made this easier in queuing and high traffic areas by adding ground markers and barriers.

Hand sanitising stations are positioned around the park, including the entry point for every activity. Please can we ask that you regularly wash or sanitise your hands throughout the day, especially before and after each activity and on the way in and out of buildings. By sanitising your hands as you enter the activities we are trying to create a 'Clean Hand Zone' on the attractions.

When making any payments on site, please use contactless payment where possible to help protect you and our staff.

Once you've selected your chosen Credit Passes and the day you want to visit, you'll also need to tell us how many are in your group.

You don't need to book each credit-based activity before you come - only the Credit Passes themselves so we know how many people are in the park each day.

The exceptions are our Senior Tree Tops Trail, Escape Rooms and paintballing which are separate to our Credit Pass system and do need to be booked in advance.

No, you don't need to book each individual credit-based activity before you come - simply decide on the day and queue for whichever activities you would like to take part in.

The exceptions are our Senior Tree Tops Trail, Escape Rooms and paintballing which are separate to our Credit Pass system and do need to be booked in advance.

If you wish to play golf or Adventure Golf ONLY you don't need to book - as long as we have capacity you can turn up and pay for a game but we recommend coming early in the day.

Did you know Pitch & Putt and Adventure Golf are open from 9am so you can head out early before the rest of the park fully opens?

We now offer fewer Escape Room bookings per day to allow extra time for cleaning between groups. This involves using disinfectant 'foggers' to ensure sanitation across each room.

To make our Go Karts and Junior Go Karts as safe as possible we are doing the following:

🏎️ Overalls are thoroughly sanitised between customers in our new, dedicated sanitising room.
🏎️ Helmets are sprayed with sanitiser after every use.
🏎️ We recommend you bring your own gloves and face masks.
🏎️ Optional balaclavas are on sale for £1.20 which are ideal for use on the karts and softball/baseball.
🏎️ Sanitising pumps are placed on entry to queue and the pit lanes for customer use before entering the karts.

Don't worry - we're honouring shared passes and unredeemed online credit passes which expired during lockdown.

Florence Springs Glamping and Florence Springs Lodges are now open and we have the following policies and procedures in place to protect our guests and staff.

What we have put in place to protect customers

1. Contactless check ins.

2. Deep clean of accommodation ensuring contact points are wiped down upon exiting accommodation.

3. Cleaning staff have worn appropriate PPE whilst cleaning your accommodation.

4. Removal of non-essential items to minimise possible lodge contamination.

5. Hot tub has been fully cleaned and disinfected.

What we have put in place to protect staff

1. Your check out time is 9am, this is to ensure that staff have necessary time to ensure the accommodation is disinfected and cleaned for our next guests.

2. All bed linen and towels are to be placed in the clear plastic bags provided and then tied, please leave these in the utility/entrance to your accommodation. This is so we can quarantine items used by guests for 72 hours before being laundered.

3. When departing your lodge please leave your front door open to allow for lodge airing before cleaning. Please leave your key in the key drop off located by the bin area.

4. All staff are provided with necessary PPE during cleaning procedures.

What happens if you suspect Covid-19 in your group

1. If a member of your group suspects that they have any symptoms of Covid-19 they are requested to inform a member of staff immediately.

2. Your party must prepare to leave the park. We will expect your group to leave on the same day as reporting suspected Covid-19 symptoms. There will be no circumstances where customers will be allowed to remain on site to self isolate.

3. This procedure is in place to protect our current guests, future guests and the Florence Springs Team.

All our accommodation bookings are manged by Hoseasons who have posted the following revised booking information:  https://www.hoseasons.co.uk/covid-19
