Archery has historically been used in hunting and combat and has become a precision sport.

Archery In Heatherton has been running for over 10 years and is one of the park’s most popular activities, This includes the coaching of Heatherton’s very own fully qualified Welsh archery instructors, you will be guided through the use, safety and execution of shooting an arrow. With the individualised tutoring on offer, you will learn the vital basics of the art of Archery, developing your precision aiming and technique.

The activity takes approx 10 – 15 minutes where the archer will receive a practice set of arrows and a final set of arrows; with these final arrows each participant will be given a personal score, allowing you to compare your score and analyse your performance.
