Nature Trail packages

NEW ADVENTURE NATURE TRAIL PACKAGE Primary School Aged 6 to 10 -

 

 
Walk our beautiful Nature Trail, with a guided talk - educating the children about the trees, flowers and animal habitats within the woodland area. Have an educational presentation on trees and naturenature trail in our new classroom above the craft shack and take part in some hands on activities, such as bark rubbings and ring counting. The Children then get the chance to sample some of Heatherton's fun and exciting activities, to finish off an educational but memorable trip to Heatherton.

Minimum of 20 children - £7.95 a child

Duration - 4 hours

The Nature trail can also be walked as part of the infant school pass.

The guided walk takes approximately three quarters of an hour to a hour.

 

Each child is given a nature detective log book for them to colour in and record details of their walk.

 

Fact sheets are also used to identify the flora, fauna insects, trees and animals.

Before and after the walk the children can enjoy the activities in the play zone

Please ensure that you bring wellington boots in case the paths are wet.
