Driving School for Children 3 to 10 years

As part of the Play Zone, these Electric cars  provide a bundle of fun and instruction on some of the rules of the road. Upon completion each child will be issued with a Heatherton driving licence.

The kids driving school combines fun essential traffic skills and road safety for children. An informative talk will be given by a member of staff to teach the child some of the rules of the road plus road safety signs.

This will be followed by the children driving in a simulated traffic enviroment that features normal road markings including directional markings junctions with road signs, working traffic lights, a roundabout, pedestrian crossing, double yellow lines . All the features are designed to help the child understand road safety.

Other winter activities in the play zone include Water Peddlerz and the Craft Shack Coffee shop these complement the existing activities such as the free outdoor play area and Indiannas indoor play area  to provide an area that caters for the very young up to the age of 10.
